Thoughts on Kindness by Ifeoma Aleke.

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32

Kindness is a word that we often use loosely, “that woman is kind”, “ that’s very kind of you” “she seems like a kind person” but have we ever truly stepped back to understand what we mean when we say someone is kind? Has this fruit of the Holy Spirit come to grow in us and have we shared this fruit with others in our daily walk with Christ?

The crossover

It’s already a few minutes past midnight and many people are in church to pray into/cross over the New Year with God. This is surely a good trend but should it end there? Most people attend these midnight services, and forget about God after a few days, only remembering him again when they get into trouble.  It’s nice to start a new year with God in prayers and praise, but to me it’s much more important to continue with God every single day.

Let's strive to walk hand in hand with God in this coming year. This can be easier if we learn to do everything with and for God. Intimacy with God is built this way.
