Worried? Contemplate God's Faithfulness.

The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the beginning of faith is the end of anxiety.
George Mueller

Have you ever found yourself in such a great mess that you wonder just how you would be free? You get so worried and anxious; losing sleep and appetite, wondering where and how a solution would manifest. Or maybe things are not working out the way you hoped and life seems to be playing a fast one on you.

In the middle of our problems, it gets so easy to lose sight of God’s faithfulness and His goodness.
As Christians, you have to realize that worry is actually the audacity to think you can solve your own problems. Worry gives us something to do, but takes us nowhere.
Someone has written that an average person’s anxiety is actually 40% of things that will never happen, 30% of things that happen in the past, and you cannot change, 12% of criticism by others most of which is untrue, 10% about our health, which worsens as we worry and only 8% of our real life problems.
We often hold on tightly to  things that will inevitably fade into dust (Ecclesiastes 3:19-20), forgetting that our lives belong to God and that God will always take care of us.
Give up your worry no matter what and contemplate on the faithfulness of God. Don’t let worry rob you of your peace in Christ.

Here are some scriptures to guide our thoughts on Gods faithfulness through the struggle.

Romans 8:38-39….For I am convinced, that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus Our Lord.

Lamentations 3:22-23.Because of the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed, for his compassion never fail, they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Deuteronomy 31:6….Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Numbers 23:19God is not man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and the not act? Does he promise and the not fulfill?

Hebrews 10:23Let us hold unswervingly to the faith we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

1 Corinthians 1:9God who has called you into fellowship with his son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.

Exodus 34:6And he passed in front of Moses proclaiming,”The lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God,slow to anger, and abounding in love and faithfulness".

Psalm 119:90..Your faithfulness continue through all generations, you establish the earth and it endures.

2 Thessalonians 3:3….But the Lord is faithful,he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one

Psalm 33:4..For the word of the Lord is right and true,he is faithful in all he does.

Psalm 89:8.... O Lord God Almighty, who is like you?You are mighty O Lord, and your faithfulness surrounds you.

Deuteronomy 7:9 ….Know therefore that the Lord your God is God;He is faithful.

Action plan;
Dear Friends, you have to realise that God knew about your problem before you even got it.I encourage you to choose positive, faith filled thoughts from God's Word. You can think, The Lord is going to take care of this.It doesnt matter what it looks like-I believe God is working!    Joyce Meyer

  2. I'll add Phil 4: 6 - 7. Scripture of life. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let you request be known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ. Key words: NOTHING, EVERYTHING
